Stunning specimen of Galena on Quartz crystals with small green blebs of Chlorite mixed among the Quartz. The Galena is really fantastic, with the appearance of polished chrome - it's just amazingly bright and lustrous. The main crystal is 4cm in size and fronted by a large Quartz crystal. The main Galena crystal consists of an earlier generation of Galena that was coated by Chlorite and followed by later generations of Galena, forming an interesting, complex shape.

AU576 - Grossular $ 500 (=~ £ 400)

Large cluster of nothing but interconnected, gemmy Grossular garnet crystals. The crystals are an amber/yellow color and transluscent to transparent. Average crystal size is about 5mm to 1cm with the best crystal at 1.5cm. A good sized cluster for the find. There are a few contacts where this cluster grew against other garnet crystals, but the majority is clean undamaged crystals.

Sharp, isolated crystals of translucent Veszelyite spinkled across the surface of velvety sky blue Plancheite. This is an old specimen, likely from the 80s or 90s, that I've owned for about 25 years. The Velzelyite form sharp, distinct individual crystals to 3mm in size. There is an old collection number painted on the bottom that was there when I bought it.

Exceptionally sharp, velvety pseudomorphs of Malachite after Azurite from the Milpillas Mine. These pseudomrophs from Milpillas are excellent, and there have been a good number produced over the years, but this one has the most well formed, crisp sharp crystals I've yet seen.

A sharp 2.5cm single Molybdenite crystal in crystalline white Quartz. A perfect single hexagon, which is less common for this locality as compared to the more typical thick aggregates of crystals. This could be trimmed down to a fine miniature.

Bright, sparkling crystals of blue Boracite on the front and back of specimen. The crystals are good sized reaching 4mm in diameter. Colorful and rich example of essentially nothing but Boracite crystals.

AU589 - Tremolite $ 950 (=~ £ 760)
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania

Large single green Tremolite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. This is a big one with a smooth, flat termination face and typical splintery edges. Gemmy with superb, vivid green coloration. These are only occassionally found and usually in smaller sizes - at nearly 5cm tall this is much bigger than most. I have seen some longer than 4.8cm, but they are usually thinner crystals - this one is thick and robust.

AU594 - Amethyst $ 400 (=~ £ 320)
Las Vigas, Vera Cruz, Mexico
cabinet - 10 x 8.5 x 6 cm

Colorful, fine quality Amethyst specimen from Las Vigas. The Amethyst occur on a highly textured matrix colored green by coatings of Epidote that creates a great color contrast against the deep purple Amethyst. The Amethyst are mostly doubly-terminated, undamaged, and highly transparent. The largest crystal is 3.3cm long. Great specimen that's a little different looking than your average Las Vigas Amethyst.

Bright lemon yellow Brucite crystals from the original finds of a couple years ago. This specimen has a first generation of more whitish yellow Brucite that is covered with more well crystallized, bright yellow translucent Brucite. These recent specimens from Pakistan are world's best for the species. Comes with a custom Sunnywood base (a $200 value).
