D598 - Willemite $ 1200 (=~ € 985) Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Highly translucent and lustrous Willemite crystals on Calcite from Tsumeb. Individual crystals are about 5mm in size and have an intereting coloration of blue/green on the ends with a yellow zone in the center.
D570 - Tourmaline var. Indicolite $ 1800 (=~ € 1478) Pederniera Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 6.4 x 5.3 x 2.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A larger 6.4 x 2.2 cm blue Tourmaline crystal with a smaller crystal stuck out of the side. Both crystals are well terminated. A little different than your typical single crystals.
D597 - Cerussite, Rosasite on Copper $ 950 (=~ € 780) Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is one of the special Tsumeb specimens that amaze. Cerussite and Rosasite over a mass of Copper. A floater with good crystals on all sides. Ex. Jim Parrish and Norm Dawson collections with labels.
D602 - Selenite $ 225 (=~ € 185) Las Salinas, Pisco Prov., Peru small cabinet - 5.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Long, transparent Gypsum var. Selenite crystal on smaller Selenite and a small amount of matrix. The main crystal is a twin and is double terminated at the small area that extends out the bottom. Highly trasparent and undamaged, this displays superbly.
D601 - Tourmaline $ 500 (=~ € 410) Chia Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 3.7 x 1 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent red single Tourmaline. Highly lustrous and transparent with a perfect, complex termination. Undamaged, with a shallow indentation from another crystal on one side, otherwise perfect. Weighs 5.4 grams.
D574 - Tsavorite, Diopside on Graphite $ 475 (=~ € 390) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 5 x 4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Crystals of Tsavorite and Diopside on Graphite. The crystals formed in a vug on massive Graphite with crystals of Graphite present lining the vug. The main Tsavorite is about 7mm and highly gemmy. Tsavorite is a chrome and vanadium rich variety of Grossular from East Africa and is one of the most valuable types of garnet found anywhere. This specimen was found at the Merelani Tanzanite mines and a fine example of some of minerals found at this locality.

D594 - Pyrite on Ferberite $ 650 (=~ € 534) San Cristobal Mine, Yauli Prov., Junin Dept., Peru thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.1 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick, well terminated single Ferberite crystal with Pyrite crystals attached the sides and back. An unusual and outstanding thumbnail.
D485 - Rutile in Quartz $ 275 (=~ € 226) Minas Gerais, Brazil cabinet - 11.5 x 5.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large transparent smokey Quartz crystal with inclusions of Rutile needles. The crystal is double-terminated and crystallized all around though the backside grew into clay and is covered by many tiny faces rather than one large crystal face. There are a few chips but it's in overall good condition. Out of an old collection.

D639 - Copper with Silver $ 200 (=~ € 164) Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA miniature - 3.3 x 2.5 x 1.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Rounded mass of Copper and Silver known as a 'Half Breed'. This one has a large 1.6cm rounded mass of Silver intergrown in Copper.
D640 - Topaz on Bixbyite $ 450 (=~ € 369) Dugway Pass, Thomas Range, Juab Co., Utah, USA miniature - 3.5 x 2 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Floater specimen of 5 black cubic Bixbyite crystals with high luster intergrown with Topaz crystals. Largest Topaz is 1.9cm and double-terminated. Good all around.
D641 - 'Kiwi' Calcite on Petrified Wood $ 200 (=~ € 164) Garfield Co., Utah, USA thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lime green Calcite, known as 'Kiwi' Calcite, on brown petrified wood (Quartz). The Calcite crystal is 1.4cm long and undamaged. A good example from a recent, limited find.
