LP936 - Rose Quartz on Quartz $ 1200 (=~ £ 959) Taquaral, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 9 x 4.5 x 3 cm A band of Rose Quartz crystals grown across the side of a single white Quartz crystal. The Rose Quartz crystals are parallel growth and doubly-terminated and undamaged. Ex. Randy Parnagian collection (RP-1064).
LP938 - Grossular $ 200 (=~ £ 160) Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada thumbnail - 3 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm Transparent orange Grossular crystals with Diopside. The main crystal is 1.5cm wide.
LP941 - Amethyst scepter $ 400 (=~ £ 320) South Africa cabinet - 12.5 x 8 x 6.5 cm Large Amethyst scepter atop white Quartz crystals. The Amethyst is doubly-terminated with medium purple coloration and is complete all around with very minimal edge wear. This was traded out of an old collection in Europe and no further locality information was provided.
LP943 - Zincolivenite $ 1250 (=~ £ 999) Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 3.5 x 2 x 2 cm Toothy clusters of Zincolivenite crystals on matrix from a new find at the Milpillas Mine (yes - with a rise in Copper prices the mine reopenned and they hit a zone of great zincolivenite crystals). This is a floater of a small bit of matrix covered by spherical clusters of crystals. There is a first generation of spherical clusters with smaller, finer crystals upon which grew a second generation of larer crystals.
LP947 - Silver after Dyscrasite $ 450 (=~ £ 360) Imiter Mine, Morocco miniature - 3.3 x 3 x 2.2 cm Bright metallic Silver after Dyscrasite crystals with Calcite specimen from the Imiter Mine in Morocco. Twinning striations of the former Dyscrasite are evident on the larger crystals.
LP948 - Silver after Dyscrasite $ 250 (=~ £ 200) Imiter Mine, Morocco thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.8 x 1.2 cm Bright metallic Silver after Dyscrasite crystals with Calcite specimen from the Imiter Mine in Morocco. Twinning striations of the former Dyscrasite are evident.
LP949 - Tourmaline $ 1600 (=~ £ 1279) Burkhard's Pocket, Pederniera Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 4.6 x 1.4 x 1.2 cm Tall single Tourmaline crystal with a well saturated pink core, followed by a green zone, and finally purple at the termination. Complete all around with a slight indent/contact from another crystal, otherwise perfect. Neat textured termination face too. Weighs 16.59 grams.
LP950 - Hubnerite on Quartz $ 750 (=~ £ 600) Mundo Nuevo Mine, La Libertad, Peru miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm Exquisite specimen featuring a doubly-terminated Huebnerite crystal set in transparent Quartz crystals. The Huebnerite is complete all around and perfect, 2.5cm tip to tip.
LP952 - Phenakite $ 200 (=~ £ 160) Mt. Antero, Chaffee Co., Colorado, USA thumbnail - 2.2 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm Glassy, colorless Phenakite crystals on Albite with Muscovite from Mount Antero. The largest Phenakite displays perfectly on top, is 9mm wide, and is complete and undamaged.
LP954 - Rutile $ 200 (=~ £ 160) Champion Mine, Mono Co., California, USA miniature - 4.2 x 2.8 x 2.5 cm High quality Rutile crystal in matrix with other small Rutile. The main crystal is 1.1cm and perfect, dark with hints of red coloration.
LP955 - Mimetite $ 350 (=~ £ 280) Pingtouling Mine, Liannan Co., Guangdong, China miniature - 4.8 x 3.5 x 3 cm Glassy, golden Mimetite crystals on matrix. The main crystal is a beauty, 1cm wide on the termination with areas of transparency and in perfect condition.
LP817 - Prehnite with Epidote $ 240 (=~ £ 192) Djouga Diggings, Diakon, Kayes Region, Mali small cabinet - 7.5 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm Translucent green spherical Prehnite with darker green Epidote crystals. The complete Prehnite sphere at the top center is 2.1 cm in diameter. Ex. Demetrius Pohl.
LP956 - Siderite, Fluorite, Pyrite on Ferberite $ 500 (=~ £ 400) Panasquiera, Portugal small cabinet - 7.5 x 7.5 x 4 cm Large single black Ferberite crystal with attached colorless Fluorite, Siderite, and Pyrite crystals. The Ferberite is well terminated and complete on both sides. There is a large rosette of Siderite crystals sprinkled with Pyrite crystals attached to the right side of the termination and octahedral Fluorite attached to the faces (5 Fluorites on the front face and 5 on the back). Nice large, older specimen.
