C631 - Stilbite on Quartz over Calcite $ 500 Jalgaon, Maharashtra State, India cabinet - 10.5 x 4 x 2 cm Laterally compressed translucent white Calcite crystal completely covered by a layer of sugary Quartz crystals, with attached pink Stilbite crystals. Unusual specimen that is reminiscent of Steve Smale's specimen known as 'The Cricket Bat' (see page 117 of the Smale Collection book). A couple of the Stilbite crystals are incomplete, otherwise undamaged, with the Stilbite only on one side. I've never seen another like this.
C643 - Calcite $ 600 Dal'Negorsk, Russia cabinet - 10 x 9 x 8 cm Radial starburst formation of Calcite crystals atop a green (Chlorite?) and Calcite rich matrix. The individual Calcite spires are about 3cm long and have hundreds of shimmering crystal faces. Undamaged.
TR1 - Mangano Calcite $ 350 Romania small cabinet - 7 x 5 x 5 cm Shimmering pink crystal of ManganoCalcite on a matrix of Quartz crystals and Pyrite. The crystal terminates into multiple spikey points. Undamaged.
TR2 - Calcite $ 280 Romania small cabinet - 6 x 3.5 x 3 cm Hollow Calcite cast that is covered by spikey Calcite crystals and has Calcite crystals lining the inside of the hollow area. Undamaged.
TR3 - Calcite $ 480 Romania small cabinet - 7 x 5.5 x 3 cm Stunning starburst spray of Calcite crystals atop a matrix of Galena, Sphalerite, and Pyrite. The tan Calcite crystals are sprinkled wtih white, disc-shaped Calcite crystals. A stunner, undamaged.
TR4 - Mangano Calcite with Quartz $ 350 Romania small cabinet - 7.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm Pink ManganoCalcite with white Quartz crystals and Pyrite. Undamaged.
TR5 - Calcite on Siderite $ 450 Romania small cabinet - 6.5 x 4 x 3 cm Elegant, wavy white Calcite crystals on a matrix of Siderite over Sphalerite. Highly aesthetic and undamaged.
TR10 - Calcite $ 450 Turt Mine, Romania miniature - 5 x 4 x 3 cm Stunning specimen of a 'flower' of white Calcite atop a stalk of tan Calcite. Well crystallized all around and undamaged. Can't say enough about how pretty this one is.
SM848 - Clinoatacamite with Calcite $ 150 Lily Mine, Ica Department, Peru miniature - 4.5 x 3 x 3 cm Calcite lined vug with clusters of dark green Clinoatacamite. The Clinoatacamite on this specimen are lustrous and well formed. These are regarded as the world's best Clinoatacamite specimens.
TU252 - Fluorite with Calcite $ 600 Emilio Mine, Colunga District, Caravia Mining Area, Asturias, Spain miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm Water-clear, colorless Fluorite cubes without matrix surrounding a single Calcite crystal. Great luster with slight corner modifications. Undamaged.
C704 - Clinoatacamite with Calcite $ 1250 Lily Mine, Ica Department, Peru miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 3 cm Large and especially fine quality Clinoatacamite crystals with white Calcite over a layer of Malachite. These are regarded as the world's best Clinoatacamite specimens, and this is a good one. The crystals are all pristine. They were protected by a layer of Selenite that I dissolved away, leaving these perfect crystals. Individual crystals reach 1.3cm wide. The Lily Mine is now closed.
J447 - Smoky Quartz, Manganocalcite, Pyrite and Calcite $ 220 Cavnic, Romania cabinet - 10.5 x 7.0 x 6.0 cm A pair of large, doubly-terminated, Smokey Quartz crystals in parallel with each other. The crystals have a nice accent of brassy Pyrite crystals, faint pink color Manganocalcite, and white Calcite crystals. A beautiful combination of species with no apparant damage and only minimal chipping on the bottom.
J680 - Calcite with Duftite $ 750 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 9.0 x 6.5 x 6 cm Mound-shaped matrix covered by green Duftite and small Calcite crystals with groupings and single larger Calcites to 3.5cm. Minor chipping to some edges but in overall great condition and very showy from all angles, good from all sides. A very sculptural and attractive Calcite.

Unusual specimen that is reminiscent of Steve Smale's specimen known as 'The Cricket Bat' (see page 117 of the Smale Collection book). One tiny Stilbite crystal is incomplete, otherwise undamaged, with the Stilbite only on one side. Only the second one like it I've seen.
K305 - Prehnite with Calcite, Tanzanite $ 1800 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 8.5 x 5 x 4 cm Individual spheres of yellow Prehnite grown in and around flat crystals of white Calcite. This is one of the most beautiful Merelani Prehnites I've ever seen. A fibrous blue Tanzanite and small white crystals (Laumontite?) are attached to the backside. A floater with no points of attachment and little to no damage.
