ST402 - Dioptase on/in Quartz Reneville, Dem. Rep. of Congo thumbnail - 2.7 x 2.7 x 1.5 cm Cluster of clear Quartz crystals with Dioptase. The main Dioptase is 1.3cm long, double-terminated, with both ends extending out opposite sides of the Quartz cluster. Old, rare specimen. Dioptase, when included in Quartz crystals, make rare and valuable specimens.
ST394 - Heterogenite, Chrysocolla $ 600 SOLD L'Etoile du Congo Mine (Star of Congo), Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga, DR Congo cabinet - 14 x 10 x 6 cm Colorful specimen of botryoidal Heterogenite, Chrysocolla, small tufts of acicular Malachite, and possibly Cornetite. Ex. Gilbert Gauthier specimen with label and ex. Mike Groben collection with label. Mike's label indicates it was purchased from Gilbert in 1999 for $250 and appraised at the time at $500.
ST420 - Rose Quartz $ 350 SOLD Sapucaia, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 5 x 3.3 x 1.3 cm Tall, narrow wall-like cluster of Rose Quartz crystals from Brazil. Great crystals with classic rose pink coloration. Can be displayed from either side.
ST435 - Herderite Hi Hope Dig, near Anza, Riverside Co., California, USA thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.4 cm Translucent 1.5cm white Herderite crystal on matrix. Collected by Al Ordway and Jon Page during the late 1990s. The Hi Hope was a short lived dig named after the ranch owned by noted southern California collector Josie Scripps who had recently passed away in 1992. A rare specimen for a southern California collection.
ST434 - Libethenite Mindola pit, Rokana Mine, Kitwe, Zambia miniature - 3.2 x 2 x 1.8 cm Cluster of dark green, lustrous Libethenite crystals 1.5cm wide in a grey argillite matrix. These were collected in the 1970s and are considered to be some of the world's best for species.
ST546 - Sulfur in Selenite Maybee Quarry, Monroe Co., Michigan, USA cabinet - 11 x 6 x 4 cm Bright yellow crystals of Sulfur attached and fully included within transparent Gypsum var. Selenite. Sulfur inclusions in Selenite are uncommon and this is an excellent example. See the current issue of Mineralogical Record for an article on this locality.
ST721 - Senegalite on Turquoise $ 200 SOLD Mount Kouroudiako, Faleme River Basin, Senegal miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm Bright yellow crystals of Senegalite on layers of vivid blue Turquoise. Senegalite is a rare phosphate mineral and this is the Type locality for the species. Ex. Erich Laskowski collection.
ST668 - Oligoclase var. Peristerite $ 300 SOLD Bear Spring Road, Monmouth Township, Ontario, Canada cabinet - 10 x 7.5 x 5 cm Oligoclase crystals to 1.5cm associated with Hornblende. ST660 - Cronstedtite on Quartz $ 250 SOLD Wheal Jane, Baldhu, Kea, Cornwall, England miniature - 4.2 x 3.8 x 2 cm Black crystals of Cronstedtite coating transparent Quartz crystals. Cronstedtite is a rare iron silicate mineral. Comes with a number of old labels including an Ian and Kim Acworth label showing a date of 1978 and a Richard Barstow label. Ex. ST582 - Cubanite $ 1800 SOLD Henderson #2 Mine, Chibougamou, Quebec, Canada small cabinet - 6.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm Twinned crystals of Cubanite on matrix. Any Cubanite is a rarity, but matrix pieces are especially rare. This one has a great twinned crystal 1.2cm wide that is undamaged with bright, brassy metallic luster.

ST733 - Smokey Quartz Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 8.5 x 8 x 3 cm Highly unusual scepter-like Quartz formation from Brazil that resembles a tree. The Quartz is medium smokey in color, highly transparent, and has bright glass-like luster. Complete all around and undamaged. A strange and beautiful specimen for a collector of unusual Quartz. Even better in person!
ST741 - Almandine $ 200 SOLD Garnet Ledge, Wrangell Island, Alaska, USA small cabinet - 5.5 x 5 x 4.5 cm Two Almandine garnet crystals in schist matrix from the well known Wrangell Island locality in Alaska. The crystals reach 1.5cm wide with purple/red coloration and translucency and are well exposed from the schist. Sawcut on base. A USA classic.
ST787 - Rhodonite $ 250 SOLD Morro da Mina mine, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 1.3 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm Single gem crystal of Rhodonite from recent finds in Brazil. This is a complete well terminated crystal with typical ridged termination and small raised crystal growths on some sides. Complete all around and translucent to transparent internally. Superb color!
