Large and hefty terminated single Ferberite crystal, complete all around. Thick and heavy with a small fluorite cube, Muscovite, and Calcite attached.

Transparent green crystals to Fluorite to 3.5cm on matrix. These are often found as solid masses of Fluorite crystals without matrix and this one is uncommon for the well isolated crystals on matrix. A beautiful large and showy specimen in great condition. An older piece, I have owned this specimen for about 20 years.

Translucent to transparent purple Fluorite cubes intergrown with Galena cubes. The Fluorite has great glassy luster and really lights up in natural sunlight. Ex. A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum.

Attractivly formed cluster of Fluorite over Calcite from Mexico. The Fluorite occurs as small cubic crystals fully coating scalenohedral Calcite crystals. Much of the original Calcite appears to have etched away leaving these as partial casts of Fluorite. Comes mounted on a Lucite display stand and with an old 'Lidstroms' label. Ex. Vuggy specimen of bright yellow cadmium Smithsonite and purple Fluorite. Botryoidal, satiny Smithsonite is present in open vugs all around the specimen. The Sheshodonnell East Mine is a small former zinc mine that was worked in about 1862-63 (per MINDAT). The miners were lookng for the sphalerite and the smithsonite was placed in the dumps, and collected about 100 years later. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection.

Purple and yellow Fluorite crystal with attached red Sphalerite crystals from the famous Fluorite region in Hardin Co., Illinois. The Fluorite is rectangular and complete all round with cubic purple Fluorite over a yellow core. Translucent with color zoning.

Purple Fluorite crystals on a white Quartz matrix. The Fluorite are transparent to translucent octahedrons modified with numerous stepped cube faces.

Exceedingly sharp single octahedral Fluorite crystal from Inner Mongolia, China. An undamaged floater of translucent pink Fluorite nearly textbook in form (one of the sixe points is stepped with multiple points). High quality, complete crystal in perfect condition.

Transparent blue Fluorite crystal from the Yaogangxian Mine. So water-clear you can see right through it to the Muscovite attached to the bottom (photos don't convey this transparency well). Complete all around, stunning crystal of the quality the Yaogangxian mine is famous for. A small cleave on one corner, otherwise perfect.

Transparent purple Fluorite from the Shangbao Mine in China. The specimen is composed of a thin matrix with Fluorite crystals on both sides. The Fluorite have the high quality and bevelled edges typical of this mine.

Large cluster of undamaged purple Fluorite crystals from Durham, England. This is an undamaged floater with no points of attachment. There is a single Galena crystal on the front and the backside shows areas of matrix covered with small Fluorite crystals and tiny black Sphalerite crystals. Ex. Purple/blue cubic Fluorite with attached Sphalerite crystals from the Denton Mine. This is a wonderful and colorful piece with stepped growth features on the faces, good clarity, and nice phantoms/color zoning inside. There are a couple small Sphalerite included within the Fluorite too. Pristine.

The Fluorite crystals are glass-like and totally water clear (you can see right through them to the matrix underneath). Cluster of purple Fluorite crystals with Quartz from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in China. The Fluorite crystals are glass-like transparent purple cubes associated with green Chlorite and Muscovite with a single Quartz crystal rising from the top. In excellent condition, well crystallized all around and nearly a floater.
