Gem Tourmaline crystal recently mined from the famous St. Anne's Mine in the Karoi district of Zimbabwe. Fully terminated, complete, and undamaged. It's transparent top to bottom with a good medium green color over most of the crystal with a darker green (though still transparent) termination. The termination is multi-faceted and complex. Excellent quality Tourmaline.

Large, dark green single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at this famous mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Most Tourmaline found here occur as small pencil-like crystals and this fat, somewhat tabular crystal in an anomaly. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade throughout with a more greenish brown at the upper third and a bright pure green in the lower two thirds. There is a bit of edge chipping along the sides, it's complete all around, and has a perfect termination. Weighs a hefty 153 grams.

Long, dark green but transparent single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at the famous St. Anne's mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade throughout with a more greenish brown at the tip and a bright pure green over the rest of the crystal. Complete and undamaged and weighs 4.86 grams.

Long, dark green but transparent single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at the famous St. Anne's mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade throughout with a more greenish brown at the tip and a bright pure green over the rest of the crystal. The crystal has a natural 'bend' near the base caused by natural fracturing and rehealing processes during the crytal's growth. Complete and undamaged and weighs 8.52 grams.

Gem Tourmaline crystal recently mined from the famous St. Anne's Mine in the Karoi district of Zimbabwe. Fully terminated, complete, and undamaged. It's transparent top to bottom with a good medium green color over most of the crystal with a darker green (though still transparent) termination. The termination is multi-faceted and complex with shallow chipping along one edge, otherwise perfect. Excellent quality Tourmaline, internally flawless. Weighs 8.57 grams.

Two interconnected crystals of Topaz bisected by a single Tourmaline crystal with a touch of Albite at the base. Both of the Topaz crystals are glassy and translucent to transparent. The Tourmaline is Elbaite due to the presence of a thin green zone at the termination and provides a stark contrast between the two golden Topaz crystals. All the crystals are pristine and come together to form an aesthetic display piece. Comes mounted on a Lucite stand.

Unusual, old Elbaite crystal from Nuristan, Afghanistan. The upper half is water clear and colorless (Achroite) with a green band in the center and a light pink at the base. Pristine and complete with a multi-faceted termination. Comes with a number of old labels, including a Mitchell Gunnell label indicating he acquired it in 1973 from Walt Lidstrom. Weighs 9.38 grams.

An unusual, distinct Elbaite crystal from Nuristan, Afghanistan. The upper half is colorless (Achroite) with a green band in the center and a light pink color at the base. Pristine and complete with a multi-faceted termination. Achroite is rare and one of the hardest types of Tourmaline to find. Weighs 9.55 grams. Ex. Dr. Abraham Feinberg collection.

Rare classic Elbaite crystal from the Hyakule Mine in Nepal. These Nepalese crystals are distinctive and now very hard to find, and this one is both good sized (many being thin 'pencil' style crystals) and highly transparent. The termination is green while the rest of the crystal is pink with bands of lighter and darker coloration. It's complete and undamaged except for one chip on the back. There are also some small Tourmaline crystals attached to part of the backside. Comes with an old Joe Cilen label with his hand drawn picture and description on the back. This is a great piece and better than photos - you will love this when you see it! Weighs 23 grams.

Pink and green 'watermelon' Tourmaline crystal from Afghanistan. Gemmy and clean and crystalized all around - even the side crystals are complete and the base is recrystalized. Good transparency in the upper half. Complete and undamaged and weighs 44.51 grams.

A 1.5cm crystal of yellow Londonite on matrix with red Tourmaline. Londonite is the cesium-dominant analogue of Rhodizite. The Londonite is sharp and lustrous and translucent with small areas of transparency. Ex. Dr. David London (namesake for the species) and analyzed by David London.

Doubly-terminated Tourmaline crystal with an attached cluster of Albite. The Tourmaline is 5 x 1.5cm with a pink, pyramidal termination on one end and a green, flat termination on the other end.

Cluster of dark green Tourmaline, a water clear Topaz, and Albite. Interestingly, the Topaz interferred with the growth of the Tourmaline causing it to grow in a hollow shape. The Topaz is 1.7cm, doubly-terminated, and a jewel.

Five parallel grown, doubly-terminated Tourmaline crystals from Stak Nala. One end has pyramidal, colorless (Achroite) terminations and the other has flat, multi-hued green terminations. There is a chip on one of the flat terminations, otherwise it's well crystallized and perfect all around, a floater.
