ST474 - Dioptase $ 200 Sanda Hills, Mindouli District, Pool Department, Congo thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.4 x 1.1 cm Large doubly-terminated Dioptase crystal from recent finds in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Bright, translucent, and deep emerald green with areas of transparency. In excellent condition with smooth lustrous crystals faces. It has a smooth indentation on part of the backside where it was attached to what was a Chrysocolla matrix.
ST477 - Dioptase $ 200 Sanda Hills, Mindouli District, Pool Department, Congo thumbnail - 2 x 2 x 1.1 cm Cluster of Dioptase crystals from recent finds in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Main crystals is large, doubly-terminated, and 2cm tall. Bright, translucent, and deep emerald green with areas of transparency. In excellent condition with smooth lustrous crystals faces. The backside is coated with a layer of drusy Quartz.

Bright, translucent, and deep emerald green with areas of transparency. In excellent condition with smooth lustrous crystals faces. Well crystallized all around.
K978 - Spessartine $ 400 Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.4 x 1.8 x 1.1 cm Complete 'citrus' orange Spessartine crystal from old finds in Tanzania. These were mostly found as partial or damaged crystals with complete crystals such as this much less common. Excellent form with a few small surface pits but no damage. Translucent with great color, there are some darker black included areas but also areas of superb gem transparenct. Weighs 13.47 grams.
K896 - Spessartine Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.4 x 1.8 x 1.1 cm Complete 'citrus' orange Spessartine crystal from old finds in Tanzania. These were mostly found as partial or damaged crystals with complete crystals such as this much less common. Excellent form with a few small edge chips and surface pits but no significant damage. Translucent with great color, there are some darker black included areas but also areas of superb gem transparenct. Weighs 37.30 grams.
MK619 - Alabandite $ 350 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 3 x 2.8 x 2.6 cm Complete single Alabandite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines in Tanzania. This is a high quality, complete crystal with smooth faces and all 6 tips present. There is a natural pit on one side where the crystal formed around a knob of Graphite and there is some Graphite remaining, along with small Diopside crystals. Merelani Alabandite are considered the world's best and largest examples of the species. A very nice example from the Tim Sherburn collection.
MK652 - Azurite with Malachite $ 1500 Christiana Mine, Lavrion District Mines, Lavrion District, Attiki Prefecture, Greece thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm Rare and beautiful gem Azurite crystal from a small find in 2018 at the Christiana Mine in Greece. This is an outstanding and aesthetic Greek Azurite with glossy luster and associated Malachite and Calcite. Vivid blue and transparent with backlighting. Ex. Jon Sigerman.
MK681 - Apatite $ 1250 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.2 x 0.5 cm Single blue Apatite crystal of exceptional size and quality from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. This is a complete, gem quality crystal with a steep, multi-faceted termination. There are a couple edge chips, but it is in overall excellent condition and one of the better I've seen from the locality. This is likely from the Karo Mine where the best Apatite were found years ago. This is an excellent crystal and the pictures don't do it justice.
MK682 - Peridot $ 1200 Sapat Gali, Kaghan Valley, Mansehra District, Pakistan thumbnail - 2.7 x 1.9 x 1.5 cm Single Peridot crystal with bright green color, good clarity, and sharp, smooth crystal faces. So many Peridot crystals tend towards an olive green color and rounded rather that crisp edges. This crystal is far better than most with good color and smooth, flat crystal faces. Complete all around and undamaged. There are also included acicular crystals of Ludwigite on the back side. A Peridot of rare quality which I have owned for 20 years or more.
MK737 - Topaz $ 400 Rodrigo Silva District, Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 3 x 1.6 x 0.7 cm Complete, gemmy single 'Imperial' Topaz crystal from Rodrigo Silva in Brazil. Well terminated and complete all around with rich golden color, some edge chatter. A flat, tabular crystal with uncommonly good transparency. The termination faces are a bit matte in luster, but it also has never been cleaned. This is old stock purchased in Brazil by dealer Steve Perry back in the 1990s.
MK751 - Hematite $ 180 Rodrigo Silva District, Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 3 x 2.3 x 0.9 cm Bright, metallic cluster of Hematite from the Rodrigo Silva district in Brazil. The Hematite occurs as parallel-growth, hexagonal crystals forming what is known as an 'Iron Rose'. The specimen is complete all around with minor edge wear and bright, mirror-lustrous faces on front and back with more matte luster along the edges. This is old stock purchased in Brazil by dealer Steve Perry back in the 1990s.
MK808 - Topaz $ 150 Maynard Claim, Thomas Range, Utah, USA thumbnail - 2.3 x 1.3 x 1 cm Transparent golden brown Topaz crystal from the Maynard Claim in Utah. The Topaz is pristine, transparent, and has incredibly high glassy luster. There is a smaller crystal attached at the base and a bit of attached Rhyolite matrix on back. This specimen was mined in 2003.

ST784 - Rhodonite $ 120 Morro da Mina mine, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 1.4 x 0.8 x 0.6 cm Single gem crystal of Rhodonite from recent finds in Brazil. This is a complete crystal with typical small raised crystal growths on some sides and a contacted termination. Complete all around and translucent to transparent internally. Superb color!
