ST126 - Ludlamite $ 750 Blackbird Mine, Lemhi Co., Idaho, USA thumbnail - 3 x 3 x 1.2 cm Well isolated green Ludlamite crystals on matrix. Main crystal is a gemmy 1.1cm crystal with great color and luster. These are old USA classics now hard to find of this quality.
ST128 - Veszelyite $ 350 Dongchuan, Kunming, Yunnan, China thumbnail - 2.8 x 2 x 1.5 cm Good sized Veszelyite crystals on matrix. This recently mined specimen features a number of intergrown, long crystals of vivid blue Veszelyite. The crystal group is 1.3cm tall. This is from a new find made in July 2020 at an old Zinc mine located about about 400 kilometers away from previous Veszelyite finds made at the Laochang Mine (also in Yunnan Prov.).
LL964 - Azurite with Malachite $ 150 Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico thumbnail - 2.8 x 2.8 x 2.1 cm Fine quality Azurite crystals attached to a small amount of matrix. Crytallized all around and undamaged with added color from small crystals of Malachite.
ST220 - Dravite $ 150 Mwajanga, near Komolo, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.4 x 1.2 cm Glassy gem quality Dravite crystal from Mwajanga. Complete all around and transparent. Superb example from this find.
ST227 - Tanzanite $ 750 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.5 x 0.8 cm Multi-colored Tanzanite crystal with a yellow over purple/blue color displayed from the front wide face. A red color is visible up the C-axis, and you can even see flashes of red reflected out the front face when lit from below (last photo). Complete and undamaged and weighs 6.87 grams.
ST232 - Anglesite (R) $ 160 Touissit Mine, Oujda-Angad Prov., Morocco thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm Double-terminated Anglesite crystal on matrix. The Anglesite is gemmy and yellow and has been repaired once. A stunning and uncommon thumbnail.
ST240 - Kammererite $ 150 Kop Daglari, East Anatolia, Turkey thumbnail - 2.7 x 2.2 x 1.1 cm Rare specimen of the chromium rich Clinochore varietal known as Kammererite. Main crystal is 5mm in size and present on a druse of smaller crystals.
ST251 - Legrandite $ 600 Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.2 x 0.8 cm Stout, complete single Legrandite crystal with good transparency. Well crystallized all around with a broad, flat termination. Lustrous undamaged crystal faces all around except for a couple small nicks on the backside.
ST249 - Pyrargyrite $ 250 Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm Thumbnail sized specimen of Pyrargyrite crystals. These are sometimes refered to as 'ruby silver' due to silver in the chemical makeup of the species (a silver antimony sulfosalt) and the deep red coloration. Perfectly terminated classic barrel-shaped crystal.
CS104 - Silver (cubic crystals!) $ 350 Bouismas Mine, Zagora Prov., Draa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco thumbnail - 2.4 x 2 x 0.7 cm Cubic Silver crystals that grew on a sheet of solid Silver and have been exposed from white Calcite. Cubic Silver crystals are uncommon and these are superbly formed, sharp cubes of about 2mm in size.
ST257 - Legrandite $ 500 Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.2 x 0.8 cm Stout, complete single Legrandite crystal with areas of transparency. Well crystallized on front with glassy luster and good termination faces, though contacted along the backside.
ST258 - Legrandite $ 300 Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 1.7 x 0.8 x 0.7 cm Stout, complete single Legrandite crystal with areas of transparency. Well crystallized all around with glassy luster and a wonderful tapering termination. Undamaged except for one nick on the tip.
ST261 - Copper after Azurite $ 125 Copper Rose Mine, Grant Co., New Mexico, USA thumbnail - 2.4 x 1.6 x 1 cm A floater cluster of Azurite that has been completely replaced by Copper. Complete on both sides with well defined, sharp edges. A remarkable and fantastic specimen.
ST286 - Spinel $ 250 Mogok, Myanmar thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm A 1.1cm crystal of pink Spinel in a matrix of white marble. A complete and gemmy octahedral crystal with gem facet grade areas.
ST302 - Spinel $ 200 Mogok, Myanmar thumbnail - 2.7 x 2.5 x 2.2 cm A 9mm crystal of pink Spinel in a matrix of white marble with other smaller Spinel crystals. A complete and undamaged gemmy crystal that is somewhat elongated and sits up well for great display from any angle.
