T927 - Quartz scepter with Hematite $ 250 (=~ £ 180)

Double terminated Quartz scepter from a 2017 find. The scepter head has both smokey and amethyst coloration and the stalk is pink due to Hematite inclusions. Complete and undamaged. The combination of the colors and form make for a great specimen.

Formation of elongated Tsavorite crystals that grade up in size towards the top, with attached tiny Pyrite crystals. Glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is new this year and highly unusual, and a wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines. It's essentially a floater, with a small point of contact at the thick end. At the right angle it looks like a lightning bolt. An amazing specimen!!!

Elongated Tsavorite crystal group with attached Pyrite crystals. Twisting, towering stack of crystals with a distinct faden line. Glassy single Apatite crystal from the famous Siglo XX Mine. The Apatite appears to be clear but colored grey due to inclusions of needle-like crystals of Jamesonite. Old dealer price was $400 on this unusual thumbnail.

Gemmy and lustrous, water-clear, yellow Scapolite crystal with glassy termination faces from Morogoro, Tanzania. The recent finds of Scapolite from Tanzania have been outstanding. A fine Scapolite, complete all-around and undamaged. All GEM! Tiny surface imperfections show up in the photo that you don't even notice in person - looks like yellow glass in hand.

Complete octahedral Diamond crystal. Great luster with trigonal hillocks and indentations. All tips are present, with two showing stepped growth, possibly due to twinning. Translucent with gem zones. Stunning and rare gem crystal. Weighs 7.55 carats.
