CT385 - Aragonite var. Tarnowitzite with Mimetite $ 150 (=~ CAN$ 206) Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 3 x 2.3 x 2 cm Well formed Tarnowitzite crystal, 1.5cm wide, on matrix with attached crystals of Mimetite.
CT390 - Dolomite on Tennantite $ 250 (=~ CAN$ 343) Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 2.2 x 2 x 1.7 cm Floater cluster of Tennantite crystals composed of two larger crystals to 1.5cm on edge and a number of smaller crystals, with a crystal of White Dolomite attached. Crystallized all around with no point of contact, better than photos.

CT100 - Silver $ 250 (=~ CAN$ 343) Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico thumbnail - 2.8 x 2.5 x 1.2 cm Specimen of Silver crystals from Batopilas. Not the typical 'herringbone' style for the locality, this is a dense mass of crystals, some showing platy, cubic crystals to 3mm. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.
CT248 - Mimetite on Cerussite $ 150 (=~ CAN$ 206) Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 2 cm Glassy Cerussite crystal partially coated by yellow Mimetite (old label says Beaverite) on a Mottramite coated matrix.
CT484 - Manganotantatlite $ 280 (=~ CAN$ 384) Alto do Giz pegmatite, Equador, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.8 x 1.1 cm Well terminated single crystal showing good red coloration on the sides.
CT512 - Achtaragdite $ 120 (=~ CAN$ 165) Akhtaragda River mouth, Vilyui River Basin, Mirninsky District, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm Achtaragdite is a rare pseudomorph of a hydrogrossular-chlorite-carbonate mineral after what is believed to be Helvite. This is a little understood psuedo likely found many decades ago at the type locality for Grossular garnet in Siberia. It is a fine example with a well formed tetrahedron of the form of the former Helvite crystal.
CT575 - Brewsterite with Harmotome $ 125 (=~ CAN$ 172) Whitesmith Mine, Strontian, Argyllshire, Scotland thumbnail - 2.2 x 2 x 1.5 cm Specimen of Brewsterite, a rare strontian member of the zeolite family, with Harmotome. Open vug filled with transparent to translucent sparkling crystals. From the type locality in Scotland. Old material from the Chuck Trantham collection.
CT527 - Quartz with Inclusions $ 175 (=~ CAN$ 240) North Trinity Mountains, Lovelock, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA thumbnail - 2 x 1.1 x 1 cm Single clear Quartz crystal heavily included by silvery crystals of a mixture of galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and tetrahedrite (Ag-rich 'Freibergite'). CT172 - Dioptase with Wulfenite $ 180 (=~ CAN$ 247) Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, Tiger, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm Clusters of vibrant emerald green Dioptase crystals aand orange Wulfenite crystals on a Chrysocolla coated matrix. Additionally, there are small clear Quartz crystals present.
CT322 - Rutile Champion Mine, Mono Co., California, USA thumbnail - 2 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm Fabulous V-twin crystal of Rutile from the Champion Mine. This is the best V-twin I can recall ever seeing from this locality. There are 6 pages of photos of Rutile fromt his locality on Mindat, and none show better twin formation than this. Complete all around with an area of contact on the back, with high luster. Ex. Chuck Trantham personal collection.
CT634 - Cassiterite $ 125 (=~ CAN$ 172) Viloco Mine, Bolivia thumbnail - 3 x 2.7 x 1.6 cm Large single Cassiterite crystal showing areas of transparency. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.
CT739 - Mellite $ 275 (=~ CAN$ 377) Csordakúti Mine, Bicske-Csordakút, Bicskei District, Fejér County, Hungary thumbnail - 3 x 2.7 x 2.2 cm Fine single crystal of the unusual organic mineral Mellite, 2.7cm wide tip to tip, with smaller attached crystals. A seldom seen rarity that, according to Mindat, has been found in only 12 localities worldwide. It occurs as a secondary mineral in lignite deposits. The crystals are translucent, with light brown color and sharp form. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection acquired by Chuck in 1987.
