AF721 - Prehnite on Tanzanite $ 3900 (=~ AUS$ 5947) Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mountains, Arusha Region, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.9 x 2 x 1 cm Killer Tanzanite thumbnail that's also a great association piece too. Fine, gemmy blue Tanzanite crystal with excellent luster and great transparency with attached large, single Prehnite crystals (analyzed) on the backside. Prehnite from Merelani is usually seen as rounded aggregates, yet on this specimen they occur as individual crystals to 7mm wide. In addition to the Prehnite, there are white crystals of an unidentified mineral also attached to the backside. A very nice Tanzanite, undamaged with TOP luster, good color and highly gemmy.

Only a small number of the recovered Cuprite specimens were associated with Miersite. Complete, undamaged floater specimen with no points of contact.
E104 - Cuprite with Silver and Copper $ 600 (=~ AUS$ 915) Rubtsovskiy Mine, Altaiskiy Krai, Siberia, Russia thumbnail - 2.6 x 2.5 x 1.9 cm Cluster of octahedral Cuprites with associated Silver and Copper. This is a fabulous, complete and undamaged floater with no points of contact. Individual crystals reach 1.7cm in size.

NA215 - Silver $ 1600 (=~ AUS$ 2440) Kearsarge Mine, Houghton Co., Michigan thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm Dramatic cluster of angular Silver crystals, capped by a superb 1.2cm crystal. Tiny amounts of Copper are present on some of the crystal faces. Nothing but good, large crystals. Fine!
NA248 - Cuprian Adamite $ 450 (=~ AUS$ 686) Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 2.9 x 2.2 x 2 cm ex. Brett Keller Showy specimen of Cuprian Adamite on Calcite with crystals to 1.3 cm long. Good sized crystals that present dramatically for display.
AF388 - Pyrite on Tanzanite $ 750 (=~ AUS$ 1144) Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mtns., Arusha Region, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.5 x 0.8 cm Single Tanzanite crystal with a Pyrite crystal attached to one side. Pyrite is not unusual from Merelani, but Tanzanite specimens with attached Pyrite are fairly uncommon, especially those with the pyrite perched so aesthetically on the Tanzanite. The Tanzanite is also a bi-color with a yellow termination over a blue body color. Unusual addition to a Merelani suite.
AF763 - Tanzanite $ 4500 (=~ AUS$ 6862) Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mtns., Arusha Region, Tanzania thumbnail - 3.1 x 1.8 x 0.8 cm Glassy bi-color crystal, blue base with a yellow termination. This crystal has superb luster and unusually uniform shape, retaining an even 8mm thickness all the way from the base to the termination. The yellow zone is facet grade and the blue zone, while having some internal fractures, is still mostly transparent - you can read through most of the crystal. Just a few tiny, trivial nicks otherwise totally undamaged. This is one of, if not the best of these yellow/blue bi-color crystals I have ever seen.
AF531 - Carrollite $ 400 (=~ AUS$ 610) Kamoya South Mine, Kambove, Katanga, Congo thumbnail - 2.8 x 1.9 x 1.8 cm Superb thumbnail specimen composed of mirror lustrous Carrollite crystals atop a thin rhombic Calcite crystal. Crystals are octahedral in shape with the largest crystal 1.5 cm wide.
