Cluster of 5 gem red scalenohedral Rhodochrosite crystals. Some terminations cleaved though smooth. Gemmy with great color.

Rhombic Rhodochrosite crystals to 1.5cm on a Quartz crystal covered matrix. In addition to the Rhodochrosite, there are a number of glassy, pale green Fluorite crystals to 1.5cm.

Large specimen with scalenohedral Rhodochrosite crystals associated with Quartz crystals. The Rhodo crystals reach 1.2cm in length and have gemmy sections, some coming to a point and others more stunted in growth.

A fossil bivalve shell that has been completely replaced by pink Rhodochrosite. The shell is wonderfully preserved with both sides present. One side has been cut to reveal the bubbly pink Rhodochrosite inside.

A fossil bivalve shell that has been completely replaced by pink Rhodochrosite. The shell is wonderfully preserved with both sides present. There is a thin layer of the original white shell present, but it is all Rhodochrosite underneath both sides. One side has been cut to reveal the bubbly pink Rhodochrosite inside.

A gemmy 'ball' of small Rhodochrosite crystals rests in the center of dark gray matrix. Two other areas also show Rhodochrosite crystals, but the center group is the main point of attraction. When seen with the aid of magnification, you will find dozens of millimeter size clear cubic Fluorite crystals in the matrix areas that host the Rhodochrosite.

Small orange Natanite crystals associated with pink Rhodochrosite. Natanite is a dimorph of Jeanbandyite.
