C325 - Tanzanite $ 290 (=~ AUS$ 442) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.7 x 0.9 x 0.7 cm Single pink Tanzanite crystal with attached Calcite and/or Zeolites. Pink is one the rarest colors for Tanzanite (or Zoisite if you prefer) and this one has well saturated color. Complete and undamaged. Unusual crystal from a late 2017 find.
C328 - Tremolite on Tanzanite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.7 x 1 x 0.7 cm Single pink Tanzanite crystal with attached green Tremolite and Calcite and/or Zeolites. Solid base that tapers out towards the top. Pink is one the rarest colors for Tanzanite (or Zoisite if you prefer) and this one has well saturated color. Complete and undamaged. Unusual crystal from a late 2017 find.
C344 - Cuprite with Copper $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) New Mexico, USA miniature - 4 x 4 x 3.5 cm Solid mass of Cuprite crystals intergrown with elongated, wire-like crystals of Copper.
C395 - Tourmaline with Albite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Stak Nala, Skardu, Pakistan miniature - 4.2 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm Dark green Tourmaline crystal with a bright pink termination and attached blades of Albite. Complete and undamaged. There is a 1.7cm double-terminated Tourmaline grown right across the tip of the first crystal.
C396 - Anatase with Quartz $ 180 (=~ AUS$ 274) Karan, Balochistan, Pakistan miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3 cm Double-terminated 1cm Anatase crystal on Albite. There are transparent Quartz crystals rising straight up out of the Albite. Undamaged and clean.
C403 - Adamite with Calcite $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 2.5 cm Unusual specimen of yellow Adamite on one side, and Calcite crystals to 1.5cm on the other side.
C415 - Rosasite $ 1250 (=~ AUS$ 1906) Silver Bill Mine, Cochise Co., Arizona miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ex. Bruce Murphy Powder blue spheres of Rosasite on the sides and within a protected vug in the specimen. Gorgeous and undamaged, this competition quality specimen is similar to the example shown on the cover of the 2nd addition of Minerals of Arizona. High quality and undamaged Rosasite from here are rare. To Bruce Murphy via the Arkenstone who acquired it in 2005 from the Ernie Schlichter collection.
C442 - Azurite on Malachite $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Katanga, Congo (DRC) miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 2 cm Blue Azurite crystals atop Malachite. Despite the tons of Malachite that pour out of Katanga every year, Azurite from the Congo remains rare. Good blocky crystals that contrast well against the Malachite.
C449 - Galena (spinel twin) $ 280 (=~ AUS$ 427) Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk, Russia miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 1.0 cm Flat tabular spinel-twinned Galena crystal. Undamaged with bright silvery luster. The front is nothing but brigth Galena, the backside is partially covered by small Quartz crystals and Calcite.
C475 - Prehnite $ 550 (=~ AUS$ 839) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 3 cm Cluster of translucent yellow Prehnite crystals on Graphite. Such Prehnites have come out sporadically from Merelani over the years, but never before in the quality that has been found in the last year. This specimen has big crystals with individuals to 1.6cm wide. The lower back edge is contacted, otherwise nothing but great crystals sticking out in various directions. A good one for the find.
C495 - Prehnite $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) Djouga, Bendougou, Kayes Region, Mali miniature - 3.5 x 3.5 x 2 cm Translucent green Prehnite with 4 stalactitic formations growing out of a Prehnite base. Sort of reminds me of a snails head.
C524 - Andradite with Diopside $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Gray Throne Claim, Graham Co., Arizona, USA miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Transluscent Andradite garnet crystals on Diopside. The Andradite crystals reach 9mm in size and are very sharply formed and transluscent amber colored. Fine quality specimen from a rare Arizona locality. Ex. Bruce Murphy collection.
C570 - Prehnite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 3 x 2.8 cm Cluster of translucent yellow Prehnite crystals on Graphite. Such yellow Prehnites have come from Merelani sporadically over the years, but never before in the quality that has been found in the last year. This specimen has big chunky crystals all over in a tall mound shaped formation. There is some chipping present, but mostly nothing but great crystals sticking out 360 degrees in all directions. A good one for the find.
C571 - Carrollite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) Kamoya South Mine, Kambove, Katanga, Congo miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 3 cm Exquisite jewel of a Carrollite set perfectly in rhombic white Calcite. The octahedron is 1.1cm in size, highly lustrous, and undamaged.
SM130 - Apatite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Panasquiera, Portugal miniature - 3.5 x 3.2 x 3 cm Highly lustrous blue Apatite crystals with Muscovite. Main crystal is 2.2 x 1.8 cm and intergrown with a slightly smaller crystal. Slight edge chipping keeps the price way down compared too the overall beauty of the specimen and the price this would be if perfect. Glassy luster with large transparent areas.
