Single, terminated Azurite crystal on velvety, botryoidal Malachite. The Azurite is 1.5cm long. Specimens such as this are uncommon from Milpillas and are highly attractive.

Choice minature of 3 Azurite crystals to 1cm on Malachite. The Azurite crystals have superb color and luster and are undamaged.

Superb electric blue Azurite crystals with a few stringers of Malachite on one side. This is from the watercourse pocket (also called the elegant pocket or spiderweb pocket) that was opened in 2013. Nearly a floater cluster (there is contacting on a few of the bottom of a few of the lower crystals) composed of intergrown crystals to 1.9cm in size. Although this was mined in 2013 it only made its way north of the border in late 2014 having been stashed away by a miner. Undamaged and superb.

Superb electric blue Azurite crystals with a minor amount of Malachite. This is from the watercourse pocket (also called the elegant pocket or spiderweb pocket) that was opened in 2013. A near floater cluster (one of the smallest crystals shows a contact where it grew against matrix) composed of intergrown crystals to 2.2cm in size. Although this was mined in 2013 it only made its way north of the border in late 2014 having been stashed away by a miner. Backside has one small broken off crystal, otherwise undamaged and superb. A beauty!

Bright blue Azurite clusterfrom the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen features a sharp 7mm crystal of Malachite after Cuprite.

Fine, deep blue cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen has numerous small attached crystals of Malachite after Cuprite and a few areas where the Azurite has altered to Malachite.

Floater cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. This one has a neat 2.5cm wide crystal edge right across the top. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. There are no points of contact, a complete floater. There is some damage on one end but overall in good condition.

Translucent, deep red/orange single crystal of Wurtzite. These Wurtzites from Merelani are widely considered the best in the world and are no longer being found, this crystal being from a 2013 find.

Bright, electric blue Azurite crystals from the watercourse pocket. Two larger intergrown crystals form the backdrop for a number of smaller crystals projecting forward. Undamaged.

Sharply formed and incredibly bright silvery colored Hematite crystal with attached golden Rutile. Mirror bright and smooth on the front, back, and edges.
