LL558 - Neptunite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Gem Mine, San Benito Co., California, USA miniature - 3.7 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm Lustrous black 2.9cm Neptunite crystal on schist matrix with white Natrolite. The Neptunite crystal is double-terminated and undamaged.
LL662 - Olivenite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) Copper Stope, Majuba Hill Mine, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 1.5 cm Densely clustered crystals of Olivenite on matrix from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. Deep forest green crystals cover much of the matrix. There are some chipped crystals along the edges but the vast majority are perfect. This is an uncommonly rich example for the mine.
LL659 - Clinoclase on Cornubite Copper Stope, Majuba Hill Mine, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA miniature - 4.7 x 3 x 2.5 cm Deep blue crystals of Clinoclase over green Cornubite from the now defunct Majuba Hill Mine. Both the front and back have great crystals.
LL811 - Cuprian Adamite $ 900 (=~ AUS$ 1372) Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm Limonite vug filled with colorless Calcite and green Cuprian Adamite crystals. This is a particularly fine example sporting large, undamaged crystals of great beauty. The crystal group at the front left is 2cm in size, with an individual crystal 1.2cm in size. The vug itself is lined with black Plattnerite which provides a stunning backdrop to the green and white crystals.
LL802 - Malachite $ 900 (=~ AUS$ 1372) Morenci, Greenlee Co., Arizona, USA miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm Hemispherical masses of Malachite to 1.4cm wide from the Morenci Mine. These Malachites are typical for the mine, this specimen with particularly good aesthetics and undamaged.
LL803 - Pyromorphite $ 1200 (=~ AUS$ 1830) Mexico Mine, Roughton Gill, Caldbeck, Allerdale, Cumbria, England, UK miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3 cm Specimen composed of densely grouped crystals of yellow/green Pyromorphite (nothing but crystals without matrix). Good colored, large Pyromorphites are rare from England. Some information on the locality from MINDAT: 'This property is adjacent to the Roughton Gill mine and exploits the eastward extension of the Roughton Gill (South) vein. It was begun in 1845, and three crosscuts were driven south to cut the vein. Although promising shoots of pyromorphite and cerussite were found early on, the mine proved to be a financial disaster. In the mid-1970's the Cornish mineral dealer Richard Barstow opened a vein exposure near the High Level of the Mexico mine and made a find of excellent pyromorphite of "old time" quality. The locality was subsequently worked by other collectors and further good material was discovered. The site is now backfilled.'
LL812 - Vivianite $ 800 (=~ AUS$ 1220) Huanuni Mine, Dalence Prov., Oruru Department, Bolivia miniature - 4.5 x 2.4 x 1.4 cm Transparent blue/green double-terminated Vivianite crystal with attached radial crystals of Siderite. Complete all around and undamaged. This one has it all - great color, transparency, and double-terminated form which is uncommon.
LL848 - Olivenite on Quartz $ 1850 (=~ AUS$ 2821) Wheal Gorland, St Day, Cornwall, England miniature - 4.5 x 4.2 x 3.2 cm Superb quality, lustrous Olivenite crystals grown atop the tips of milky white Quartz crystals. All faces are present (front, back, left, right, top, and bottom), each with varying amounts of attached reddish rock matrix. Nearly pristine with some edge chipping, a shockingly amazing big blocky crystal.
LL691 - Veszelyite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Dongchuan, Kunming, Yunnan, China miniature - 5 x 4 x 2.8 cm A 9mm cluster of blue Veszelyite crystals on matrix. This is from a new find made in July 2020 at an old Zinc mine located about about 400 kilometers away from previous Veszelyite finds made at the Laochang Mine (also in Yunnan Prov.). Veszelyite from ANYWHERE are rare and desireable, and these new specimens have an added bonus of sometimes forming fan-shaped clusters such as this one. The cluster is well isolated, complete and undamaged all around.
LL972 - Azurite $ 500 (=~ AUS$ 762) Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4.4 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm A group of interconnected Azurite crystals with little stringers of 'spider-web' Malachite attached to the backside.
