M625 - Tanzanite with Diopside Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 2.5 cm Uncommon and interesting Merelani specimen consisting of a 2.5cm terminated Tanzanite side-by-side with a 3cm Diopside, however the terminations are pointing in opposite directions. Never seen one like this before.
M639 - Tourmaline $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1449) Aricanga Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 3.2 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm Terminated single Tourmaline crystal from recent finds at the Aricanga Mine. Hot pink body color with a green cap. Complete all around and weighs 15.35 grams.
M674 - Argyrodite $ 450 (=~ AUS$ 686) Himmelsfurst Mine, Freiberg, Saxony, Germany miniature - 3.5 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm Dark, slightly irridescent blue Argyrodite over Pyrite. Ex. Philadelphia Academy and William Vaux collections. Rare, historic Argyrodite specimen. Argyrodite is one the rarest of the silver species, a germanium containing silver sulfide.
M458 - Copper $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Copper Falls Mine, Keweenaw Co., Michigan, USA miniature - 4 x 2.2 x 1 cm Well formed, quality Copper crystals with a rich patina.
M457 - Galena with Calcite $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Mid-Continent Mine, Treece, Picher Field, Cherokee Co., Kansas, USA miniature - 5 x 5 x 3.5 cm Bright and shiny Galena crystals with an attached honey-colored Calcite crystal. Old specimen from a classic USA locality.
M462 - Pyrite after Pyrhottite $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Zacatecas, Mexico miniature - 4.7 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Thin blades of Pyrite that have pseudomorphed after Pyrhottite crystals. Bright and lustrous with a few small Quartz crystals associated.
M731 - Prehnite, Stilbite on Laumontite after Anhydrite $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Prospect Park, New Jersey, USA miniature - 4.8 x 4 x 3.5 cm Green Prehnite and tan Stilbite crystals on a cluster of Laumontite after Anhydrite crystals. Small Calcite crystals are also present. Well crystallized all around.
M688 - Copper $ 150 (=~ AUS$ 229) Quincy Mine, Houghton Co., Michigan, USA miniature - 3.3 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm Well formed, quality Copper crystals with a rich patina. Crystals on the right 'arm' are particularly sharp.
M785 - Arsenopyrite with Calcite, Muscovite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China miniature - 3.5 x 2.7 x 1.8 cm Fine quality single Arsenopyrite crystal with another smaller crystal sticking out the front face. Well terminated bright crystals with the backside covered by wafer-like Calcite crystals.
M784 - Acanthite $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) Imiter Mine, Ouarzazate Prov., Morocco miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 1.5 cm Serpent-like cluster of interconnected octahedral Acanthite crystals. Complete all around and undamaged.
M832 - Chalcoalumite $ 220 (=~ AUS$ 335) Grandview Mine, Grand Canyon, Coconino Co., Arizona, USA miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Bright Robin's egg blue Chalcoalumite covering matrix. These specimens are very hard to come by now as the locality is now part of a national park. This old copper mine began operation in 1892, stopped operation around 1907, and became a part of the national park in 1940. The specimen is likely over 100 years old! From an old collection and comes mounted in a plastic box.
M870 - Ilvaite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm Cluster of thick, glossy black Ilvaite crystals with typical chisel-shaped termination. There are a few small green Quartz crystals and Hedenbergite attached. Complete all around.
M901 - Aquamarine $ 450 (=~ AUS$ 686) Shigar Valley, Skardu, Pakistan miniature - 4 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm Terminated single Aquamarine crystal with attached Muscovite and Albite. Glassy luster and gemmy with very slight surface etching. I found one tiny, trivial nick, otherwise complete all around and undamaged.
M916 - Aquamarine $ 450 (=~ AUS$ 686) Shigar Valley, Skardu, Pakistan miniature - 4.7 x 3.5 x 2 cm Gemmy Aquamarine crystals intergrown with Quartz and Albite a a few black tourmaline inclusions. This is an undamaged floater fully crystallized all around.
M914 - Topaz $ 650 (=~ AUS$ 991) Shigar, Skardu, Pakistan miniature - 5 x 3.3 x 2.2 cm Double-terminated gem Topaz crystal with attached Quartz and Albite. Transparent and undamaged.
