LL915 - Malachite on Cerussite $ 2500 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 6 x 3.5 x 3 cm Glassy star-shaped Cerussite crystal with an uncommon association of spheres of Malachite and lighter green Duftite. This is a highly showy specimen in pristine condition. All 'rays' of the 'star' are terminated, and there is surprsing no chipping or damage for such an old specimen of a brittle spieces.
LL24 - Mottramite on Calcite Tsumeb, Namibia cabinet - 9.5 x 5 x 5 cm Large rhombic Calcite crystals comepletely coated by thick, large crystals of dark green Mottramite intergrown with a second generation of lenitcular Calcite crystals. Clean and undamaged, an excellent Mottramite specimen.
LL25 - Zincolivenite (Cuprian Adamite) on Quartz $ 1800 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 8.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm Good sized specimen covered on all sides by green Zincolivenite crystals (formerly known as Cuprian Adamite). Hundreds of crystals on this this one, the richest example I've ever had. Individual crystals reach 6mm and there are also fingers of dark green Mottramite in various areas. An amazing specimen.
ST809 - Tennantite after Azurite $ 380 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 6 x 4 x 2 cm Crystal cluster of Tennanite after Azurite from Tsumeb. Elongated, primatic crystals of former Azurite that have been pseudomorphed to Tennantite. An undamaged floater cluster with individual crystals to 4.5cm in length.
ST899 - Wulfenite $ 1500 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4 x 3 x 1 cm Robust single Wulfenite crystal from Tsumeb. The crystal is a floater, complete all around and nearly pristine with just a couple very slight chips. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection with his collection number and small plastic display stand attached to the back.
ST928 - Azurite, Malachite, Arsentsumebite $ 1800 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 3 cm Tall, slender crystal of Azurite partially pseudomorphed to Malachite with Arsentsumebite from Tsumeb. The crystal rises up off a 'matrix' of other partial crystals. The Azurite areas have glassy luster while the Malachite has a velvety luster, contributing to a contrast of textures and colors that work exceptionally well together. A Tsumeb classic... Comes with a couple old labels, including one from Anton Berger (a German mineral dealer who specialized in Tsumeb specimens) and another that shows an old price of $1250.
SV142 - Dioptase $ 350 Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm Cluster of Dioptase crystals from the Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. This is an old specimen from the Dr. Abraham Feinberg collection composed of nothing but lustrous Dioptase crystals, most showing areas of transparency. The best crystal is doubly-terminated and 1.5cm long.
SV158 - Mimetite $ 250 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 6.7 x 5.2 x 2 cm Double-sided specimen of Mimetite from Tsumeb, Namibia. Hundreds of Mimetite crystals on both sides of the specimen ranging from micro crystals up to 1.1cm in size. The larger crystals are fantastic with strong yellow color, high luster, hexagonal prism form and pointed terminations. They show areas of transparency one one is doubly-terminated. Ex. Dr. Abraham Feinberg collection.
SV124 - Cerussite $ 2000 Tsumeb, Namibia cabinet - 11 x 10 x 9 cm Large single Cerussite crystal on a Mottramite covered matrix from the Tsumeb Mine. The Cerussite is 9.5cm wide and well crystallized all around with just minor edge chipping. Large and impressive Tsumeb Cerussite specimen. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.
SV256 - Tarnowitzite $ 225 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 5.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm Three stout, white crystals of Tarnowitzite on a matrix covered by slightly reddish Dolomite crystals. All the crystals are well terminated and undamaged. There is an old collection number painted on the bottom.
SV362 - Zincolivenite (formerly Cuprian Adamite) $ 200 Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm Isolated bright green crystals of Zincolivenite (a mineral formerly known as Cuprian Adamite) with Cerussite. The crystals reach 0.5cm in size and contrast well against the dark matrix.
SV350 - Willemite $ 500 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 3 cm Deep blue, botryoidal Willemite coating matrix. The Willemite is translucent and here are small blue/green Rosaite spheres in association.
MK212 - Mimetite on Cuprian Smithsonite $ 1500 Tsumeb, Namibia cabinet - 10 x 6 x 4.5 cm Globular translucent green Cuprian Smithsonite with yellow Mimetite from Tsumeb. The Smithsonite is translucent and forms botryoidal masses and short stalactitic formations with crystallized surfaces. A showy large specimen of one of the most desirable Smithsonite varietals from Tsumeb.
LV300 - Cuprite with Cerussite $ 150 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 5 x 4 x 3 cm Dark red Cuprite crystals, glassy Cerussite on white Dolomite.
LV369 - Smithsonite $ 400 Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 9.3 x 6 x 3.5 cm Light yellowish white Smithsonite crystals on a sulfide matrix from Tsumeb. The crystals have excellent form and reach 1.6cm in size. The crystals are translucent with areas of transparency.
