Cross-shaped crystal of Cerussite. There is slight edge chipping present, but the formation is different than most and unusual.

classic deep green Cuprian Adamite with a couple small Wulfenite crystals. Clean and damage free.


T870 - Azurite $ 3500

Cluster of large, partially etched Azurite crystals from Tsumeb. Fully crystallized all around, even part of the bottom is recrystallized! There is a small indentation showing Malachite on the lower front face (possibly damage, possibly natural), and the lower backside of the back crystal has some indentations/contact from another former Azurite crystal. Otherwise good all around. These good large Tsumeb Azurites are very hard to come by now.

Cluster of 3 crystals of Azurite that are mostly psuedomorphed to Tennantite. Not only is it an aesthetic cluster, on virtually all similar pieces I've owned, I've never seen any remaining Azurite, they have all been 100% psuedomorphed. On this one you can see areas of residual blue Azurite.

Large, heavy twinned crystals of Cerussite with associated pink Smithsonite crystals. Some slight chipping present but overall in great condition.


C200 - Azurite $ 2000

Large group of chunky Azurite crystals. Main crystal is 3.8cm wide across the termination. Translucent along the edges when held to a light. There are small Cerussite crystals present. Undamaged except where it broke away from the host rock on the right side. Comes with an old label from noted Tsumeb collector Carl Acosta and old price of $3,800.


C253 - Dioptase on Calcite $ 2000

Outstanding thumbnail sized specimen of Dioptase crystals on white Calcite crystals. Main Dioptase is an undamaged 1.6cm crystal. There is one small cleaved crystal on the lower right (that could be trimmed away), all other crystals undamaged.

Light green, branching clusters of Cuprian Aragonite from Tsumeb. In excellent condition all around, I can find no damage, and all the tips are good. Adding to the green coloration are little specks of attached and included Malachite.

Bright and gemmy Dioptase crystals covering matrix. There are a couple damaged crystals present but the vast majority are perfect and the luster and transparency are great. This is out of an old collection built in the 1970s and on the market for the first time since then.

Translucent to transparent Cerussite crystals, partially coated by yellow Mimetite, on a Duftite covered matrix. Comes with an old Kahn label.

Floater specimen of Cerussite crystals on matrix with green Duftite. Crystallized all around with a perfectly centered 'snowflake' Cerussite crystal of 1.3cm. Insignificant damage to some crystals.


C485 - Azurite with Malachite $ 1500

Azurite partially altered to Malchite, with the Malachite forming fine 'bulls-eye' patterns. The Azurite is sharply formed with lustrous faces. The back is a large 10cm partial crystal and there are 2 terminated Azurite crystals attached to the front, the best is 5cm tall and grown out away from the largest crystal.

Cluster lenticular Calcite crystals with green Mottramite. The Mottramite has great color and is both in and outside the Calcite A Tsumeb classic.


C521 - Malachite after Azurite $ 400

Exceptionally sharp and well formed single crystals of Azurite that has been psuedomorphed to Malachite, though a small amount of the original azurite remains at the termination. There is good 'bulls-eye' patterning in the Malachite on a termination face.

Classic Tsumeb specimen of Dioptase on white Calcite. Super lustrous, transluscent Dioptase crystals in small clusters and isolated crystals. There is damage to a couple crystals, but the vast majority are fine and undamaged. Despite the damage, this quality is rare to find now.
