Individual spheres of yellow Prehnite grown in and around flat crystals of white Calcite. This is one of the most beautiful Merelani Prehnites I've ever seen. A fibrous blue Tanzanite and small white crystals (Laumontite?) are attached to the backside. A floater with no points of attachment and little to no damage.

Stunning Hematite and Quartz specimen from the classic Arizona locality, likely from the late 1970s. Mirror lustrous tabular crystals to 1.9cm. Comes with an old Larry Conklin label that shows a price of $550 likely from decades ago. There are some small damaged crystals, still this is by far the best I've owned or seen, though admittedly I have not seen many - they are uncommon, Mindat only shows 18 specimens.

Crystals of translucent Rhodochroiste over a small bit of Manganite matrix. Undamaged.

Large, doubly-terminated blue-cap Dravite from a unique 2017 find. This one has so many things going for it, most importantly it's large size and good condition with only one bit of chipping along the termination. It features a dark body grading up to a translucent white zone followed by an intensly blue termination. While the dark zone in the majority of the crystals were opaque, this one is translucent, even despite it's larger size (I put a pen light behind it in one photo to show the translucency). The other end is terminated with a more pyramidal shape and has green overgrowths. There is another small Dravite intergrown in this end.

Partial cube of Platinum with a smaller attached crystal. Platinum crystals are much more rare than the nuggets and most are much more rounded than this one, in fact it was the sharpest, most well formed by far of a small lot of crystals I examined. It has stepped faces all around, well crystallized and undamaged. I understand these are no longer being found. Weighs 1.57 grams.

Double-terminated cluster of 'Indicolite' with deep blue color. One end shows cat's-eye growth and has an attached cluster of Lepidolite. Complete and undamaged. Weighs 76.3 grams.

Thick, lustrous black Neptunite crystals on a flat matrix of Natrolite over schist. This is an old Steve Perry specimen that I purchased from Steve about 20 years ago and have kept in my collection ever since. All the crystals are terminated and undamaged, the main crystal is 2.5cm long. There are small brown Joaquinite crystals on the Natrolite.

Gem quality pink Tourmaline crystal with attached books of purple Lepidolite. Clean, transparent, and undamaged. Tourmaline is 3.6 x 1.8cm. Weighs 26.47 grams.

Cut and polished slice of Liddicoatite (a species of Tourmaline) from old finds in Madagascar. Cut parallel to the C-axis, the slice reveals the colorful interior of what would have appeared to otherwise be a dark crystal. Triangular color zoning of greens, blues, and purple. Well polished on both sides, weighs 87.09 grams.

Large single Tetrahedrite, 3.5cm with some smaller attached crystals. Excellent size and undamaged with a slight coating of Chalcopyrite in areas. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.
