TU224 - Quartz $ 600
Daye, Hubei Prov., China
large cabinet - 15.5 x 15.5 x 9.5 cm

Amazing floater cluster composed entirely of double-terminated Quartz crystals. This stunning piece is complete all around and surprizingly undamaged for it's size and with so many different points sticking out in all directions. Individual Quartz crystals reach 14.5cm long. WAY better in person.

B560 - Azurite with Malachite $ 4000
Anhui Province, China
cabinet - 14.5 x 12.5 x 5.5 cm

Azurite with Malachite from Anhui Province, China [db_pics/pics/b560a.jpg] Azurite with Malachite from Anhui Province, China [db_pics/pics/b560b.jpg] Azurite with Malachite from Anhui Province, China [db_pics/pics/b560c.jpg]

Shockingly bright, electric blue Azurite crystals lining a large, shallow vug. The color is a more dark, vibrant royal blue than the photos indicate. The photos also don't capture the bright reflections of the crystals - they look like blue foil. These are so incredibly bright I had to take a second look to make sure they weren't Linarite or some other species. I've never Azurite seen like this before, though I have heard Bisbee produced similar Azurites to this at one time. The backside is sawn revealing another small vug containing typical, darker blue Azurite crystals. If you want to add a large amount of bright blue to your case, this is the one.

B561 - Azurite with Malachite $ 300
Anhui Province, China
small cabinet - 6.5 x 5.5 x 3 cm

Floater specimen of intergrown Quartz crystals covered on one side by Inesite, Hubeite (rare!), and Pyrite. The tip of the large Quartz crystal has damage, but this specimen is really about the great coverage of Inesite and Hubeite. These are now uncommon and no longer being found.

Floater cluster of bright green Pyromorphite, well crystalizzed all around. There is one damaged tip on the backside, otherwise perfect all around. This specimen has the top color for the find.
