Gorgeous and gemmy blue, blue/green aquamarine crystal with Muscovite attached to two sides. Undamaged with great glassy luster and highly transparent in the upper half. The prism faces have geometric growth features on the sides where the muscovite is present. The previous label shows a price of $3,800 - I got this in a 'fire sale' from a collector and am passing the savings on. Aside from some veils, the upper half is like transparent blue glass. Unfortunately the camera focuses right through the crystal to the back faces where the muscovite is present, making it look much worse in the photos as compared to when you hold it in your hand. Nicely beveled termination edges with a random, etched depression in one of the bevel faces.

C348 - Emerald on Pyrite $ 280
Muzo Mine, Boyaca Dept., Columbia
cabinet - 12.5 x 7 x 2.5 cm

Old (approximately 40 year) specimen of deep green Emerald crystals on Pyrite. The Emeralds reach 4.5cm long. The crystals are not terminated, but have great color and the contrast against the Pyrite makes a showy specimen.

Tabular Aquamarine crystals adjacent to a clear Quartz crystal, on Muscovite. These Aquas are typically found on flat plates of Muscovite and the structure and display of this one is unique and striking. There are 3 main Aqua crystals, one of which has some interference growth on one side which is not damage. Professionally cleaned and exceptionally clean and bright.
