Rough and Cut Pairs

A first for Marin Mineral is this page of rough and cut sets pairing natural crystals with gemstones of the same mineral.  As a mineral dealer you often times acquire broken or partial crystals with good gem sections begging to be cut.  I've saved those over the years and recently had them faceted, many of which are presented below.  I researched the gem values and have included the retail value of the gemstones in the descriptions in most cases.  I've generally offered the gemstone AND a natural crystal for less than the retail value of the gemstone alone (or in one case the gemstone plus the crystal for the price of the crystal alone).  Of note are two large faceted Jeremejevites.  Please also note that all the gemstones are going to look way better in person than they do in my photographs. I hope you enjoy.
