AF393 - Anglesite $ 800 (=~ £ 518)
Tsumeb, Namibia
small cabinet - 7.6 x 3.5 x 2.6

Light blue Anglesite crystal group nicely crystallized on both sides. The blue color is unusual and likely caused by Copper.

AF398 - Azurite $ 150 (=~ £ 97)
Boulmaadeen Mine, Mibladen, Morocco
thumbnail - 3 x 2 x 1.5

Densely grouped aggregate of elongated, parallel crystals. The crystals have great luster and are also transarent when backlit. Good on the backside too

NA222 - Quartz after Calcite $ 50 (=~ £ 32) SOLD
Mt. Gee, Arkaroola, South Australia, Australia
miniature - 4.8 x 3.5 x 2.5

Rhombic Calcite that has been completely replaced by tan Quartz.

SA821 - Chrysoberyl $ 300 (=~ £ 194) SOLD
Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Brazil
thumbnail - 2.4 x 2.3 x 2

Double terminated sixling Chrysoberyl. Good uncommon gem crystal, translucent golden color.

AF394 - Quartz on Aegerine $ 125 (=~ £ 81) SOLD
Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi
miniature - 4.2 x 1.5 x 1.2

Highly aesthetic specimen of a well terminated Aegerine (not a ragged termination like most) with an attached cluster of smokey quartz and a small orthosclase crystal. While not as large as some, this is as good as I've seen fromthis locality in terms of aesthetics.

AF399 - Cobaltian Calcite with Malachite $ 200 (=~ £ 130) SOLD
Mashamba Mine, Shaba Prov., Congo
thumbnail - 3.1 x 2.2 x 1

Pink Calcite crystals that show nicely with the green Malachite. This is an old specimen from a locality that produced superb pink Calcites; the new stuff from Morocco just doesn't compare to these. I just love these and pick them up whenever I can find them. There is a cleavage face on the lower left of the lower front crystal group; top, main display crystal is undamaged.

NA223 - Gold $ 2500 (=~ £ 1620) SOLD
Mockingbird Mine, Mariposa Co., California
miniature - 4.3 x 3.1 x 1

Bright yellow crystallized Gold specimen. 18.1 grams in weight. Some say this looks like a horse.

A755 - Topaz $ 325 (=~ £ 211) SOLD
Gong Shan Mine, Yunnan Prov., China
small cabinet - 6 x 5.5 x 5

Large, clear Topaz crystal complete all around and fairly clean of damage, just a couple small chips on sides along bottom. Big gem crystal for the price.

AF395 - Dioptase on Calcite $ 450 (=~ £ 292) SOLD
Tsumeb, Namibia
miniature - 5 x 4 x 3

Classic specimen of lustrous Dioptase on white Calcite. Crystals are undamaged, main group is 1.9cm wide.Ex. Bruce Carter collection.

E588 - Fluorite with Apatite $ 325 (=~ £ 211)
Sauberg Mine, Ehrenfriedersdorf, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany
miniature - 3.4 x 2 x 2

A 1cm purple Fluorite cube on matrix with lustrous white Apatite crystals. Ex. Harvard Museum specimen.

NA224 - Tourmaline $ 400 (=~ £ 259) SOLD
Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande, San Diego Co., Califonia
thumbnail - 2.8 x 1.5 x 1.3

Hot pink Tourmaline crystal, complete all around. Not only is the color fantastic, but the termination is very glassy, which is less common for Himalaya Tourmalines. Ex. Tom Wolfe collection.

A756 - Cuprite $ 275 (=~ £ 178) SOLD
Red Dome Mine, Chillagoe, Queensland, Australia
thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.2

A 1cm Cuprite crystal set on Cuprite with smaller crystals. Red Dome Cuprite is the world's best in my opinion because it is so transparent and bright. With a little backlighting, the main crystal really lights up. The best pieces from this find sold in the high five figures and there is not much of this material on the market anymore.

AF397 - Vanadinite on Barite $ 350 (=~ £ 227)
Mibladen, Morocco
small cabinet - 6 x 3.5 x 3

Bright red Vanadinite crystals to 8mm on white Barite crystals. The main crystals display great and contrast well against the white Barite. A few smaller crystals are missing. While Vanadinites are now plentiful, specimens on white Barite are not as plentiful and make for the best specimens.

AF400 - Fluorite $ 45 (=~ £ 29)
El Hammam, Morocco
miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3

Green Fluorite cubes to 2.3cm across. Fluorite from this locality comes in a variety of colors, however I picked this one up because it is so much more transparent than most. Nice glassy luster also.

NA225 - Copper on/in Calcite $ 100 (=~ £ 65) SOLD
Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA
miniature - 2.5 x 1.8 x 1.6

Single Calcite scalenohedron showing the bright Copper color inside with groups of tarnished Copper protruding from the bottom and backside.
