Laterally compressed translucent white Calcite crystal completely covered by a layer of sugary Quartz crystals, with attached pink Stilbite crystals. Unusual specimen that is reminiscent of Steve Smale's specimen known as 'The Cricket Bat' (see page 117 of the Smale Collection book). A couple of the Stilbite crystals are incomplete, otherwise undamaged, with the Stilbite only on one side. I've never seen another like this.

Along with many other 'world's best of species', Merelani produces the world's best Prehnites (in my opinion). This fantastic specimen is a complete undamaged floater that looks like it was constructed by dropping little grains of Prehnite atop each other until they formed this tall stack of crystals. The rear bottom is black from inclusions of Graphite, and there are Laumontite crystals included on one side near the base. One of the best Merelani yellow Prehnites I've owned.

Outstanding, undamaged cluster of blue Prehnite, crystallized front and back. Rarely do you see blue Prehnites of this quality with such good crystal form. These are also color change, producing different shades of blue in indoor versus outdoor lighting.

The specimen shown is a specimen that has a thin layer of yellow Smithsonite crystals covering pseudomorphed scalenohedral Calcite crystals. It's an aesthetic example of a multi-generation pseudomorph with interesting internal crystal structure showing the original Calcite crystals completely replaced with some other species, then Smithsonite covering all.
