B848 - Apatite $ 750 (=~ CAN$ 1029) SOLD Kunar Prov., Afghanistan miniature - 4.8 x 4.3 x 1.7 cm Three purple Apatite crystals on Albite. Main crystal is 1.8cm wide with great purple color. Afghani purple Apatite can be great but ususally dissapoints with perhaps less than 10% of the specimen I see being of interest, when you can find any. This specimen delivers.
B849 - Apatite on Quartz $ 380 (=~ CAN$ 521) SOLD Kunar Prov., Afghanistan miniature - 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm Purple Apatite crystals to 1cm atop Quartz. Undamaged and the Apatite has good luster.
B852 - Prehnite on Tanzanite $ 5000 (=~ CAN$ 6862) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 5.8 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm Tall, gemmy Tanzanite crystal with attached Prehnite on one side. This is a natural, unheated crystal and has a honey/brown core at the bottom to prove it. In excellent condition all around with just a couple tiny, insignificant edge chips that can be found with a loupe.
B853 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 1200 (=~ CAN$ 1647) SOLD Landanai, Tanzania miniature - 4.1 x 3.6 x 3.3 cm Fantastic single Chrome Tourmaline from a recent find. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich varietal of the species Dravite. This crystal is one of a small handfull that have 3 color zones. A bright, vivid green at the termination, a darker green at the center, and grading towards a yellow green at the base. Weighs 73 grams.
