Sharp, glassy Scorodite crystals to 5mm on matrix. The Kiura mine was a tin mine famous for it's Scorodite crystals, which, according to Mindat, are 'impossible to obtain now'.

Small but well formed, lustrous single Veszelyite crystal. The Arakawa Mine was a copper and gold mine that closed in 1966.

Complete ruby-red crystal with great color and transparency. Undamaged with nice crystal faces all around. The Taguchi Mine is a long abandoned Manganese mine and was once known as the world's best locality for Pyroxmangite.
