Large matrix specimen with numerous Boleite crystals. Matrix Boleite specimens, when available, are most commonly composed of dried clay containing Boleite crystals. This specimen is uncommon for both it's size and that the matrix is composed of hard rock and Gypsum. There are also cream colored Anglesite crystals present. The Boleite cubes reach 8mm in largest dimension. I count 9 larger Boleites, plus many more tiny crystals. This is a rare specimen from a long closed mine.
