AF673 - Tanzanite $ 4800
Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mtns., Arusha Region, Tanzania
small cabinet - 6.0 x 1.5 x 0.9 cm

Super, large double terminated Tanzanite. This is quite simply the best DT Tanzanite I have ever seen, and I have been told by others who deal in Tanzanian minerals that it is the best they have ever seen also. It has good size, good color, and a nice uniform shape. Perfect and undamaged except for one small area near one termination.  A must for a serious Merelani collection or for a double-terminated minerals collection.

AF50 - Olmiite $ 200
N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
thumbnail - 3 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Translucent, peach-colored radial group of crystals, a nice cluster.

AF51 - Poldervaartite $ 50
N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
miniature - 3.3 x 2.5 x 2 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Complete, radial group of crystals on matrix. An excellent example of the species.

AF52 - Olmiite on Calcite $ 200
N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
thumbnail - 3 x 3 x 3 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Pair of translucent, peach-colored radial groups of crystals on a partial Calcite crystal, uncommon.

AF53 - Rhodochrosite $ 600
Moanda Mine, Moanda, Haut-Ogooue, Gabon
small cabinet - 5.5 x 3.3 x 2 cm

Translucent, scalenohedral Rhodochrosite crystals covering matrix. A fine example from this uncommon Rhodo locality.

AF54 - Anglesite $ 150 SOLD
Touissit Mine, Morocco
small cabinet - 6.5 x 4.5 x 2 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Glassy yellow Anglesite crystals to 2.5cm. This is an interesting formation of essentially nothing but Anglesite crystals. It's a thin plate composed of crystals, with more crystals sticking up off the face. There are a few broken crystals present as shown in photos, but the word from returning dealers from Morocco is that Anglesite prices have gone way up, and a piece like this could not be bought in Morocco today for this price.

AF55 - Ettringite $ 90
N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
small cabinet - 5.1 x 1.3 x 1.3 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Unusual formation of stacked Ettringite crystals. We are used to seeing these scattered across the surface of Manganite and not forming such a tall column of crystals as this one.

A591 - Vesuvianite $ 180
Fushan Mine, Hebei Prov., China
thumbnail - 2.6 x 2.4 x 1.3 cm

Tabular, root-beer brown Vesuvianite crystal, complete all around and undamaged. These could be found fairly inexpensively with Chinese dealers at shows, but they almost always have some degree of damaged edge. Mathew chose wisely with this one.

A592 - Elbaite $ 240 SOLD
Paprok, Afghanistan
small cabinet - 5.4 x 1.0 x 0.7 cm

Double terminated, undamaged bi-color Elbaite.

A593 - Quartz $ 180
Northern Areas, Pakistan
cabinet - 11 x 9 x 7.5 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Good cluster of Quartz crystals with crystals growing off both sides of a vertical central Quartz plate. Good transparent crystals with the crystals on one side partially included by purplish brown mineral.

A594 - Schorl in Quartz $ 70
Skardu District, Pakistan
miniature - 3.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Quartz cluster with a terminated Schorl crystal speared through the center. The bottom is recrystallized making this a floater.

E122 - Annabergite $ 120
Kilometer 3 Mine, Laurion, Greece
small cabinet - 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Bright, vibrant green crystals lining vug.

E123 - Annabergite $ 150 SOLD
Kilometer 3 Mine, Laurion, Greece
miniature - 4.7 x 2 x 1.5 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Bright, vibrant green crystals in clusters over matrix. Nice dense groups of crystals.

E124 - Mimetite var. Campylite $ 45
Dry Gill Mine, Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England
miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Orange Campylite crystals on both sides of matrix.

NA270 - Calcite $ 225
Arkansas, USA
cabinet - 9.7 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm
ex.  Matthew Webb

Large double-terminated Calcite crystal, undamaged. Ex. Matthew Webb #317.
