A902 - Inesite, Hubeite on Quartz $ 400 (=~ CAN$ 549) SOLD China miniature - 4 x 3 x 2 cm Transparent Quartz crystals overgrown by brown Hubeite and pink to red Inesite. The Inesite forms thick crystal clustes on the back of the Quartz. A good display from either front or backside.
A903 - Realgar with Calcite $ 400 (=~ CAN$ 549) SOLD Shimen Realgar Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 6.5 x 3 x 2 cm Gemmy Realgar crystals to 2 cm long on matrix with scalenohedral Calcite.
A904 - Cavansite with Stilbite $ 450 (=~ CAN$ 618) SOLD Wagholi Quarry, Poona, India small cabinet - 9 x 8 x 3 cm Spherical groups of bright blue Cavansite clusters with large white Stilbite crystals. The arrangement of the Cavansite clusters with the large stilbite made this one stand out to me as compared to typical cavansites.
NA217 - Benitoite $ 1150 (=~ CAN$ 1578) SOLD Gem Mine, San Benito Co., California miniature - 4.2 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm Near triple term, 1.8cm Benitoite on matrix with other smaller Benitoites. Although one corner of the main crystal is missing, it displays wonderfully with good blue color and translucency, with cutting quality gem areas in the crystals. This one was etched and purchased from Steve Perry in the early 1990s.
NA218 - Neptunite $ 750 (=~ CAN$ 1029) SOLD Gem Mine, San Benito Co., California thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm Floater cluster of Neptunite crystals, including a couple double terminated crystals. Rare to find such a 3-dimensional cluster free of matrix. The tall upright crystal has an area where another crystal formerly intergrew, and one of the others has an irregular area on one termination, but it is complete and undamaged.
NA219 - Wulfenite $ 250 (=~ CAN$ 343) SOLD Red Cloud Mine, Trigo Mtns, La Paz Co., Arizona thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.6 x 0.7 cm Floater single Wulfenite with good color and luster, complete all around with some attached calcite crystals on the backside.
NA220 - Danburite $ 300 (=~ CAN$ 412) SOLD Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico small cabinet - 8.5 x 4 x 1.7 cm Large single Danburite with two smaller crystals set at an angle across the face. The crystals are undamaged with good luster and gemmyness near the termination. The crystal arrangement made this one stand out among similar single crystals.
NA221 - Danburite $ 220 (=~ CAN$ 302) SOLD Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico small cabinet - 8.3 x 2.6 x 2.6 cm Large single Danburite with a smaller crystal crossing across the face. The crystals have good luster and gemmyness near the termination. The crystal arrangement made this one stand out among similar single crystals.
NA226 - Danburite $ 300 (=~ CAN$ 412) SOLD Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico miniature - 4 x 2 x 1.5 cm GEM Danburite with great luster. I bought this during my first trip to Tucson back in the early 1990s from a man who went to Charcas and selected the most transparent crystals he could find. This one stands out among other Charcas Danburites for its brightness and the transparency top to bottom, as compared to most which are only transparent at the terminations. The quality is evident when held side by side with others.
NA228 - Gold $ 2000 (=~ CAN$ 2745) SOLD Round Mountain Mine, Nye Co., Nevada miniature - 4.5 x 1.5 x 0.5 cm Leaf-shaped specimen of crystallized Gold with larger crystals attached along the edges, 6.0 grams in weight.
NA229 - Copper SOLD Keewenaw Peninsula, Michigan miniature - 4.7 x 3.5 x 2 cm Well crystallized, arborescent group of Copper crystals with a nice patina.
NA232 - Copper in Calcite $ 700 (=~ CAN$ 961) SOLD La Bufa Mine, Chihuahua, Mexico miniature - 3.5 x 3.2 x 2.5 cm ex. Dr. Wolfgang Pohl Transparent scalenohedral Calcite crystals to 2.2cm long included by Copper. The Copper is tarnished green outside the Calcite and retains the metallic copper color within the Calcite.
E625 - Sulfur $ 1200 (=~ CAN$ 1647) SOLD Racalmuto, Sicily, Italy small cabinet - 6 x 6 x 5 cm ex. Don Boydston Beautiful, highly translucent Sulfur crystals to 2cm on Aragonite. Bright yellow crystals of great form, from the Don Boydston collection.
E626 - Demantoid $ 3500 (=~ CAN$ 4803) SOLD Val Malenco, Lombardy, Italy miniature - 5 x 2.5 x 2 cm A vertical line of Garnets culminates at the top with a superb 1.2cm crystal. Good green color, fine quality Demantoids for this occurrence.
SA588 - Sphalerite on Pyrite $ 300 (=~ CAN$ 412) SOLD Huanzala Mine, Peru small cabinet - 7.5 x 4 x 3 cm Bright, brassy Pyrite crystals blanketed by Sphalerite crystals along the sides. A very attractive example of relatively common species.
