Huge polished nodule of green Variscite with angular veining of yellow Crandallite. Desirable, hard to find specimen recently released from a private collection. This is the largest such piece I have ever seen and is also the largest the previous owner, who collected such items, had ever seen. This is not merely a slab either, but part of a huge gem nodule, and could therefore be cut into a series of slabs, though I really like it as is. Size 29 x 18 x 6 cm and weighs 8.5 pounds.
