AF169 - Quartz scepter $350
Namaqualand, Northern Cape Province, South Africa

 

   

Long double terminated Quartz crystal on matrix from a recent find. The top end has a good dark smokey scepter that contrasts well against the light smokey color of the main crystal. Scepter is complete all around with top luster. Overall length of the crystal is 5.5 cm and has a very slight curve to it. Size 6.9 x 4.2 x 3.1 cm.

Deep blue specimen of Shattuckite from recent finds that have produced some of the best Shattuckite yet found. This piece is nothing but Shattuckite, 3.7 x 2.5 x 2 cm.

Long dark green crystals of Malachite atop deep blue specimen of Shattuckite from recent finds that have produced some of the best Shattuckite yet found, 3.2 x 3.2 x 2.5 cm.


NA154 - Copper (spinel twins) $120

Branching, spinel twin crystals rising out of matrix. Central crystal appears to have broken off at some point. Comes with old Bob Jones label, 4 x 3.5 x 3 cm.

Shimmering blue droplets of Smithsonite on a Quartz coated by Limonite matrix. Slight dmage to some of the Smithsonites, overall a fine and beautiful specimen, 8.5 x 4 x 3 cm.

Rich specimen loaded with red Wulfenties to 5mm with Mimetite, 6 x 4.2 x 3.5 cm.

Large butterscotch colored Wulfenite crystals reaching 3cm in size. Some damaged edges, biggest crystal undamaged, 7 x 6 x 5 cm.


NA159 - Axinite on/in Quartz $150
New Melones Reservior, Calaveras Co., California

 

   

Bargain lot of 6 specimens of Axinite and Quartz. Four are really nice floater Quartz crystals with all kinds of steps and interesting shapes (including two double-terms stuck together tip to tip), very good as quartz alone but the added Axinite make them very interesting. These were collected by a friend of mine last year, all have Axinite associated. Largest is 7cm.


SA101 - Quartz on Magnesite $1,200
Brumado Mine, Bahia, Brazil

 

   

Double terminated 4.5 cm citrine/smokey Quartz (hard to say exactly which color) set in peach colored Magnesite crystals. Elegant is a perfect adjective to describe this piece. Fine display specimen out of a recently acquired collection, 6 x 5 x 2 cm.
