AF111 - Tanzanite Merelani Hills, Tanzania miniature - 3.5 x 2.7 x 0.9 cm Glassy and lustrous gem Tanzanite crystal with purple blue color. Overall excellent quality and good sized. Natural, unheated gem Tanzanite crystal. 50 carats in weight, 3.5 x 2.7 x 0.9 cm.
T38 - Tanzanite Merelani Hills, Arusha Region, Tanzania miniature - 3.5 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm Good sized gem Tanzanite crystal with good transparency. Complete all around, fine gem crystal, 3.5 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm.
AF537 - Acanthite Imiter Mine, Atlas Mtns., Morocco miniature - 3.2 x 2.5 x 2 cm Sharp octahedral crystals to 12mm on edge. The crystals are very sharp in form but have slightly curved edges giving them a unique appearance, 3.2 x 2.5 x 2 cm.
TU180 - Azurite with Malachite Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.5 cm Azurite crystal cluster with little stringers of 'spider-web' Malachite attached. Undamaged floater cluster composed of 4 intergrown crystals. Superb.
TS216 - Calcite with Malachite after Azurite Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 5 x 4 x 3 cm ex. Carl Acosta Coral-like formation of light green Calcite with four crystals of Malachite after Azurite.
B109 - Anatase Kharan Mountain, Balochistan, Pakistan small cabinet - 7.5 x 7 x 3 cm Anatase crystals to 1.1cm on an Albite coated matrix with gem transparent Quartz crystals. The Quartz are hard to see in the photos (they are exceptionally clear!), but they are really nice.
B134 - Anatase Kharan Mountain, Balochistan, Pakistan cabinet - 11 x 8 x 7 cm Mirror-bright Anatase crystals to 9mm on matrix with Quartz and Albite. Five larger crystals with more smaller crystals present. Undamaged.
B169 - Fluorite Dal'Negorsk, Primorsky Kray, Russia cabinet - 10 x 5.5 x 4 cm A 4cm Fluorite cube on matrix with Sphalerite. The Fluorite is a sea foam green with inclusions of white Aragonite needles. Fluorites from this find and this particular color are uncommon and hard to find. There is minor chipping present, otherwise the crystal is pristine with glassy luster and razor sharp edges. A hard to find piece for a Fluorite collector.
B304 - Azurite, Malachite Volborthite Pocket, Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.4 x 1 cm Azurite crystal grouping with attached Malachite. The Azurite has a waxy to satiny luster and is brilliantly translucent when backlit. From a single pocket opened in April 2015 that produced a limited number of specimens. A couple chips, otherwise undamaged.
B406 - Azurite Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4 x 2.2 x 1.3 cm Single large, thick Azurite crystal with a tiny amount of matrix attached to one side. Slight chipping present but overall very clean and complete all around.
T481 - Apatite Karo Pit, Block D, Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.2 x 0.5 x 0.4 cm Terminated single gem crystal of blue Apatite. Superb luster and facet grade for it's entire length.
T674 - Tourmaline Cruziero Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 9 x 7 x 6 cm Massive single, well terminated green Tourmaline crystal with highly fibrous, hair-like structure in areas. Broad, flat termination slopes gently back towards the side wtihteh hair-like growth. Can be displayed from one side as a typical (but huge) Tourmaline, or from the other side showing the hair-like fibrous structures.
T717 - Copper 'Skull' Keeweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA cabinet - 12 x 8 x 8 cm Large, exceptional Copper 'Skull', a cast of Copper formed when Copper coats a rounded nodule in a conglomerate with the nodule later eroding away leaving the "skull'. This one is both good sized and exceptionally well formed (complete) and preserved. Many get smashed or dented or are only partial hemispheres. I'd say this one has about 80% coverage of what was the former nodule.
T827 - Shattuckite over Dioptase over Calcite Tantara Mine, Katanga, Dem. Republic of Congo cabinet - 9.5 x 6.5 x 6 cm Large open vug of blue Shattuckite over Dioptase. The Dioptase formerly covered larger Calcite crystals, which are now gone, only the tips of one or two crystals can be seen on the backside now, however their form is clearly evident from the inside of the vug. The specimen is almost entirely Dioptase and Shattuckite. An unusual feature of this specimen is the light, pearly luster on the surface of the Shattuckite, which is more typically a darker, matte luster. Rare and unusual.
C164 - Axinite Puiva, Polar Urals, Russia miniature - 4.7 x 4 x 3.5 cm Transparent purple blades of Axinite on matrix.
