Aesthetic grouping of spinel crystals all stacked together and enveloped in Mica, largest spinel 2.4cm across. Spinels have a nice pink color. Mahenge is a recently developed gem field where last year a 50 kilo Spinel was found, reportedly worth several million dollars in gem rough. There are lots of interesting stories on the internet about this find if you search, 5 x 4.5 x 4 cm.

This is an unusual and aesthetic Diopside specimen, unlike any I've seen before. A central Diopside, 1.9cm, sharp and gemmy rises straight up out of Graphite, with 7 other smaller Diopsides radiating out laterally from the base of the central crystal, all crystals termianted, 3 x 3 x 2.5 cm.

Red Rhodochrosite crystals, a couple missing tips but most are perfect (and it's not $20K). Translucent, deep red color, rare to find nowdays. Size 4.9 x 3.9 x 2.4 cm.

Rounded cluster of interlocking crystals, translucent deep red in color. The light shimmers across the surface as you hold it in your hand, a beautiful rarity, 2.8 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm.

Long Diopside crystal with superb luster and transparency, best of the lot. Crystal is undamaged but has a notch towards teh bottom where it was intergrown with another crystal. Great gem crystal, 4.8 x 1.3 x 0.9 cm.

Gemmy bright red Rhodochrosite single crystal with good transparency. Tip is good, though under a loupe there is one tiny sub-1mm area that might be a cleave. Size 1.7 x 1.5 x 0.9 cm.

Fine crystal of this rare Axinite variety. The crystal is lustrous and complete on both sides with a fine lavender color. This specimen is pictured in the Sept.-Oct. 2009 issue of the Mineralogical Record (figure 49, page 372).Sharp, beveled edges on both sides with transparency along the top edge, size 3 x 2.9 x 0.5 cm.
